Conservative values amongst Gen Z

I came across a post yesterday where people were discussing that Gen Z is more conservative than the generation preceding them. This was surprising for me a bit because I don't have that much public interaction to even know about what is going around. My POV was mainly based upon what people close to me tell me. I was of the opinion that everyone is becoming more liberal now.

I understand that conservative and liberal values have different context in India as compared to countries in the west. I just wanted to know from you guys about what is up with Gen Z about conservatism and on topics like Gender roles? Does Gen Z believe in defined Gender roles more than Millenials?
