Stacked Jazz Bass Pots wiring and components

Hello everyone. I own a 2003 American JB and I would like to soft mod it a little with a stacked pots plate, Flea bass/'60s style. I already bought the important bits:

- the plate

- the pots (500k-500k)

- the knobs

- the jack socket

I am able to do the soldering job but I don't know how to wire it and, more importantly, what further components I need (capacitors and resistors).

From what I read online there are different ways to wire it with different outcomes.

What I would like to know is if, among all of you, there is someone able to suggest a setup that allows me to have the two pickups well separated and discretely controllable with the less amount of crossbleed possible.
