For parents in casualph, at what age did you start introducing gadgets to your child?

I have a 5yr old sister na babad sa gadgets, I think naintroduce siya to phones as early as 3yrs old (watching youtube). Binabantayan naman ng parents ko yung screen time niya, and the phone isn't hers naman -pinapahiram lang so she could watch yt/tiktok.. pero nung bumisita sila last time (I don't live with them e), napansin ko lang na most of the online content she consumes aren't really so meaningful or educational either. Like she'd rather scroll through brainrot yt reels than watch a proper kids movie with me.

So to parents here (sorry not sure where else to ask)... ganito na ba yung uso? introducing gadgets to children this early? and if it's not yet considered normal, do you think it will be normalized in the near future?

addtional details ----------

Reason why I'm asking this... I'm a college student that's currently looking into developing a bilingual (english/filipino) e-learning and gamified application, with the primary target users being a minimum of 5yr olds. As for the parents, they'll receive access to analytics that will help track their children's learning progress and see where they may be struggling in.

Pansin ko kasi na dumadami na yung mga bata na hindi marunong, o sadyang hindi natuturuan, umintindi at magsalita ng filipino (my sister included). Meron din namang mga fluent sa filipino pero hirap umintindi ng english.. so my app in mind aims to teach both languages concurrently, in a very gamified manner that's appropriate to kids.

Yun lang.. hindi ko alam kung ano ba yung usual age for introducing gadgets to kids 😅 baka wala din pala gagamit sa app ko with my current minimum target na 5yr olds. Please help me out!
