S56 for partner English before nomination approval?

Hey Aussies.

Applied for a 186 TRT in June 2024 (Metro, Nonaccredited)

Received S56 today for partners English, however we have no idea if our nomination was approved.

Is it possible to receive s56 for the visa before the nomination is approved ?

Cheers
