Pleasantly surprised at how much I’m loving my first Pro device

Coming from an iPhone 14 Pro Max and then a 15 Pro Max, this is already my favourite iPhone I’ve ever had. I was hesitant about upgrading from the iPhone 15 Pro Max as was an ideal blend of large screen size and lightweight body. I decided not to opt for the iPhone 11 Pro Max as I thought it would be too big and heavy in comparison.

I also had reservations about getting the 17 Pro because I thought it might be too small. I strongly feel after just one week that I will probably stick to the standard Pro for some time. The size is so much more manageable than the PM, and the lighter weight compared to the 15PM feels tangible in the hand. It is the first time I am using an official Apple silicon case, and it’s competed the package. Feels great in the hand - grippy, yet incredibly compact.

The cameras are a noticeable step up from the 15PM, and the battery life seems on par with that model when it was in its prime.

I think it’ll take something special to convince me not to go the same route next year.
