**Lahai-Roi Phase Research Brief**

Following multiple rounds of negotiations, the Royians and the **Polar Union** have concluded deliberations. They decided to jointly construct research facilities focused on three locations: the **Exostrider's** greatsword on the ice plains, the Underground Sunken Sword Lake, and the Etching Plains.

In this effort, the **Hall of Solar Induction** provided crucial data on the **Reactor Drive's** operational cycles and magnetic storm zones, enabling the infrastructure planning. Meanwhile, the **Shepherds** among the Royians directed **Exoswarms** to participate in construction and material transport, ensuring the projects proceeded smoothly.

Through this collaboration, the Polar Union's Phase I project—the Polar Research Station on the ice plains—and the massive vertical transport elevator **"Starward Riseway"** built attached to the Exostrider's greatsword, were completed in succession.

Concurrently, the New Federation also provided its most advanced space engineering technology to construct a ring-shaped research facility in the low-gravity zone—the **"Spacetrek Observatory"**. The Observatory will orbit on a predetermined trajectory to conduct further probing and scanning of the greatsword left by the Exostrider.

After conducting non-destructive research on the Exostrider and Exoswarms and cross-referencing it with data provided by the Royians, the Polar Union has drawn the following conclusions:

**I. Regarding the Relationship Between the Exostrider and the Sentinels:**
The Exostrider and the **Sentinels** share a high degree of homology, but their functions differ significantly. The Exostrider does not possess the same kind of sapient intelligence as the Sentinels, which can "reveal prophecies" and guide civilization.
Its advantages lie in extremely high combat capability, mobility, and biomimetic characteristics. Consequently, the Research Institute hypothesizes: the Exostrider is a ▇▇▇ within the ▇▇▇▇▇ system responsible for transport and combat functions.
To distinguish it, the Research Institute defines the Exostrider as a **"Pseudo-Sentinel."**

**II. Regarding the Exostrider's Mechanical Properties:**
Under the irradiation and catalysis of the **Reactor Drive**, components that detach from the Exostrider's body differentiate into animal-type and plant-type **Exoswarms**.
These Exoswarms will replace extinct flora and fauna to stabilize and maintain Lahai-Roi's fragile ecosystem. Through feeding and energy charging, Exoswarms will return to the Exostrider and fuse with it to repair damaged sections once their energy density peaks.

However, data on Exoswarm differentiation and generational succession provided by the Royians indicates that this biomimetic repair process is not infinite.
There is an upper limit to the number of differentiation cycles for Exoswarms, similar to human cells—over time, their regeneration intervals continually lengthen, the differentiation rate of new Exoswarms gradually slows, until it halts.
Further calculations show: the total number of Exoswarms that have already returned to the Exostrider, plus the number that may differentiate in the future, is still insufficient to complete a full repair of the Exostrider.
This means Exoswarms have suffered severe losses over the long generations. Some Exoswarms have been confirmed as consumed by **Voidworms**, and a considerable number of components remain unaccounted for.

**Continuation: Supplementary Report on Exostrider Function and Reactor Drive Characteristics**

Through further investigation and energy-level monitoring of the Lahai-Roi underground oasis, the research team confirms:
Even in a dormant state, the Exostrider continues to operate by a certain autonomous mechanism, fulfilling its instinct to protect Lahai-Roi and the Royians.
Investigations reveal that some of the Exostrider's components did not re-differentiate into intelligent individual Exoswarms. Instead, they transformed into bionic structures supporting the crust. These structures extend and intertwine within the geological strata, resembling a skeletal spine, hereafter referred to as the **"Spine Within the Shell."** They are evenly distributed in unstable zones of the stratum and are hypothesized to play a key role in maintaining the stability of Lahai-Roi's crust and transmitting energy generated by the Reactor Drive.

**Regarding the Relationship Between the Reactor Drive and the Exostrider's Body:**
Research further indicates that the Exostrider's energy drive core—the **"Reactor Drive"**—and its main body can be considered creations of two different hierarchical levels.
The Reactor Drive possesses operational capability independent of the main body. Its energy characteristics show a supply potential approximating ▇▇, clearly belonging to a high-level creation within the ▇▇▇ system.
Under the illumination and catalysis of the Reactor Drive's sunlight, components detached from the Exostrider's body initiate the processes of differentiation, proliferation, and repair, ultimately returning to the main body.
However, the Reactor Drive and the Exostrider exhibit a kind of紧密 linkage—once an Exostrider individual completely **"dies"**, its corresponding Reactor Drive will also cease functioning.
In other words, the Reactor Drive is not a completely independent energy structure; rather, it maintains its activity through a certain **"life"** signal from the Exostrider.

**Conclusion and Deduction:**
We have reason to suspect that even if all existing and potential Exoswarms in Lahai-Roi complete their return in the future, the Exostrider's degree of restoration will struggle to reach its peak state.
However, once creations of ▇▇▇ bind with a **Resonator**, they can surpass the upper limits of their original form. For humanity, if we wish to connect with, communicate with, or even control the power of such ancient creations—finding their Resonator has also become the only and necessary solution.
