How do you stop being the “perfect employee” and finally start prioritising yourself?
I’m looking for feedback or any real solutions. I’ve realised I need to change my routine and actually show up for myself, not just for work. My timetable is ready, my goals are clear, and at my job I give one hundred percent. No sick days, no excuses. Basically the ideal employee.
But personally? I’m frustrated with myself. I don’t focus on my own growth, and I never give myself the same importance I give to my work.
Every morning I set an alarm to start my routine, and every morning I end up saying “tomorrow.” People will say “just get up anyway,” but the procrastination feels stronger than my intention.
Has anyone else been through this and actually broken out of it? What helped you finally choose yourself?
