Transport from Colombo to Kandy

Hello I will be arriving Colombo on the 17th and heading to Kandy the next day. I couldn’t get train ticket probably because of the flood situation. I would need some advice should I book in advance on 12go website they have minivan or use PIckMe app when I arrive there ? I am looking for a cheaper cost and don’t mind share ride.
