Advice needed

I've just entered second year I study in a govt college in Karnataka

I want to start preparing for usmle and atleast clear step one before internship

I know some basic things like books that needs to be referred... But im still confused abt the whole thing...i watched a lot of youtube videos frm indians who are now in the US but it really leaves more questions... Can anyone please tell me step by step what to do how to prepare... And what else is needed other than academics...are there any agencies that help with the whole process....i don't think my college is a recognised institute as it's a fairly new college under my university...my batch is the 3rd batch in the college...will that be a problem?
