Ring doorbell not using 802.11w (pmf) when its set to optional.

So I pentested my iot network since these devices doesnt support WPA3 first I set my iot to pmf required my smart tvs wont work but ring stayed working so IK ring supports it. So I set it to optional so devices that support it should use it but then ring now wont use it and I can easily deauth it.
