Weird symptoms when the meds wear off

Does anyone experience physical symptoms when the meds are supposed to have worn off? I take Ritalin immediate release and the meds are supposed to last only 4 to 5 hours.

Yet I experience ophthalmological pain (sensitivity to lights mainly), headaches (I know these are normal), but mainly (this is what worries me) I’ve been feeling tense in my chest area, with what seems to be like either nerve pain or muscle fasciculation, right on the heart area.

I’ve been to the cardiologist in September and had all the exams and my heart is healthy. But I get this restless sensation in my chest in the evening when in bed, and it’s very uncomfortable and makes me worried.

Does anyone relate ?
