What should I do about a food trap on my top left, 2nd from the back teeth?

question

Had a filling done a couple years ago by dentist 1, there was a small gap, due to receding gums. That's when food kept getting trapped in there, I found a solution with waterpik, after trying different type of floss to be the most effective, but still a tedious thing, especially when travelling.

Went to dentist 2 to take a look and they said the filling was done well and the gap was small.

I went back to the same clinic as dentist 1 who had left and dentist 3 says that a crown or Invisalign might fix it

Teeth doesnt hurt, isnt cracked, the only thing bothering me is the food trap, which lasts till I get home to a waterpik
