This SaaS Made $65K in 3 days of launch with this one change

General Discussion

Hello Everyone,

The other day, I was watching a YouTube video where a founder explained how he achieved crazy sales on his SaaS launch (Supergrow).

He achieved that by offering lifetime access to the first few users.

But why does lifetime access sound so compelling?

It's because users pay for subscriptions all the time, Spotify, YouTube, X, Gmail, and when someone comes up with a lifetime offer, the user thinks

"Oh, I pay once, and I'll get to use this until I die."

They might not even use it all the time, but it feels like owning rather than using, and this psychological shift is what makes users take out their credit card and pay you

I naturally included lifetime access in my Animated React UI Library (ogblocks.dev) because there's no way I can put this in a recurring subscription

But if you're a SaaS founder and struggling to get your first users, you can offer lifetime access to the first 100 or 150 users for an increased price, get the initial thrust, and then convert to a monthly subscription

You'll get some money, beta testers, valuable feedback, and testimonials, which will naturally drive more sales in the future

I really liked this strategy and thought I should share it with you all

What do you think?
