In what order should I play the Mother series?

I know it's obvious but just to confirm. I have played Mother 3, yes before the first 2. I am on a quest to play all the great GBA games and I saw mother 3 and roughly found out it's not connected to prequels. It was awesome (Very Sad for me ;). I still remember the music in my mind. Anyways so I wanted to know what should I play first
