Merchant Marine?

this might sound a little crazy but I want to be in the merchant marine industry, I’m a Hispanic women, less then 5% of women are Hispanic in this industry. I’m highkey scared of the dick heads I might work with. Everyone says being in the middle of the ocean far away from people is crazy, but I find it calming. I think I can beef it a lot from it, and keep myself in a routine. I just think people’s opinions are tearing me down. What would you do, or tell someone going through this?
