“Uterus with appearance consistent with adenomyosis” on report from hysterectomy the BIGGEST relief

I finally feel validated. After 15 years of maybe this or that or maybe you have just a heavy period or maybe you need to try [yoga/drinking more water/exercise/birth control/etc.], I sobbed when I read this. I got my hysterectomy today and saw my surgeons notes with this at the top. The pain was real. The bleeding was abnormal. I didn’t make it up. I was strong enough to weather all that, not weak.
