Barclay's Mortgage - WARNING to Public!

Please accept this as a warning to all persons with Barclay's mortgages.

Our mortgage repayments were £700~ a month. At the end of the fixed rate, I selected a repayment of £800 a month, only to find the payments being taken off my account were £1200~.

After arguing with Barclay's, I am having to wait another month for the new payment to take effect with no offer of credit or reimbursement for the wrong amount.

What also astounds me is the fact Barclay's think it is acceptable for monthly payments to go from £700~ to £1200~ without any reduction of term. This is blatant daylight robbery.

I have resigned to moving away from Barclay's and taking the mortgage elsewhere.

Barclay's are nothing but Thieves! Beware!
