What's your game of the year that was not released in 2025?

I generally take note of games that sound interesting and wait a year or five so I can buy them when they're on sale. It's cheaper, they're kinder to my PC, and they're new to me either way. Nothing like the Steam sale to get three or four new worlds to explore for the price of something brand-new that I might end up disliking (here's to you, Elden Ring)

So, with that in mind, what was your favorite game that you played for the first time in 2025 that wasn't released this year?

I'll start — I managed to get every achievement in Cyberpunk 2077 across 4-5 playthroughs after playing it for the first time back in January. More times than I've played Baldur's Gate 3, but I guess BG3 doesn't have Keanu
