How to get aluminium?

I have found some ingots. But I can't find any ore. I read old posts talking about aluminium gravel, but has this been removed, I havent found any? Is it bauxite I should be looking for?
Should I be looking in the twilight forest? I keep finding different things online and I dont know if its out of date.

If anyone has any advice I would be grateful. Thanks
