[Hiring] Looking for an illustrator/video editor to bring explainer videos to life

I'm looking to hire a talented illustrator and video editor for a YouTube channel I'm building that explores universally relatable topics—things like social interactions, life transitions, and the everyday moments we all experience. These videos are meant to help people see themselves in the stories while learning something valuable along the way.

The channel is ready to launch, and I have scripts and voiceovers prepared. Each video will be 2-4 minutes long, combining minimalist illustrations with voiceover narration to create engaging, story-driven content that feels warm and authentic.

Some things I'm looking for:

• Clean, minimalist illustration style that's simple but expressive
• Strong video editing skills with good pacing and comedic timing
• Understanding of visual storytelling—how to sync illustrations with voiceover
• Reliable and consistent work ethic for weekly ongoing collaboration

I need someone who can handle both the illustration and editing process from start to finish. I have a vision for the style and tone, but I'm absolutely open to your creative input and expertise on what works best for this medium. This is a long-term project, so I'm looking for someone who wants to grow with the channel.

Please include your portfolio or previous work samples, along with your Discord username, rate per minute of finished video (in USD), and estimated turnaround time. Open to negotiate based on experience and approach.

Important note: I'm specifically looking for human-created work—no AI-generated content, please. I value the quality, authenticity, and unique creative touch that only a real artist can bring, and I want to support genuine artists building their craft.
