how to heal myself to shift?

So a while ago someone did a tarot reading on me, abt why i couldnt shift for years. The result was shocking actually. It said if i could dream abt it then i could achieve it BUT i need to do "hard internal work" to heal myself. Idk what to do about this, can someone help me out?
