Building AI workstation
I'm planning to build my first PC, which will be an AI workstation. Aiming for a double GPU setup, hoping to find a RTX 3090 in good condition second hand.
The PC is going to host an agentic AI system I'm developing, using fine-tuned LLMs and classification pipelines for vision and audio.
Since I'm new to building, I sat down with Gemini 3 Pro to figure out a component list. Due to some temporal hallucinations (e.g., the AI claiming it is currently 2024 and the RTX 5060 Ti isn't released yet...) I don't exactly have full confidence in this list.
So please help me out. Does this build make sense? Note, I'm planning to add more RAM eventually, as well as the second-hand RTX 3090 mentioned before. Is anything crucial missing from the list?
