Build help after 20 years playing on laptop!
Hello everyone!
I've used laptops for most of the past 20 years, and now I'm looking forward to building my first proper PC. After watching and reading guides, I put together a build that seems pretty standard for this price range, and I'd like to have your feedback and any suggestions you might have - especially to drop the price down if possible! My build
I will use this PC mainly for gaming; I will be using a 1440p monitor but I don't care for ultra-high settings, and I'm looking for a setup that can run titles like Death Stranding 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid Delta and online games such as Rainbow 6 Siege and Final Fantasy XIV on medium/high settings without issues.
- New build or upgrade? New build
- Existing parts/monitors to reuse? Monitor: Alienware AW2725DM and peripherals (generic mouse and Redragon K686 HE)
- PC purpose? Mainly gaming and, from time to time, music and video production software (Ableton and DaVinci Resolve)
- Purchase country? Spain: PcComponentes, COOLMOOD, Neobyte, CaseKing and Amazon (which i'd avoid if possible). I should have access to other countries's shops as well if needed (Italy, Germany, France etc.)
- Monitors needed? No
- Budget range? 1000 - 1500 Euro tax incl.
- WiFi or wired connection? WiFi
- Size/noise constraints? No, but i rather have it on the quite side
- Color/lighting preferences? Ideally, it would be all black, but other options are not restricted if they are more viable or convenient
- Any other specific needs? No
Should i swap the RAM for a CL30? And should i go for a full ATX or just stick with the Micro ATX?
Last but not least, should i get the 7700 X or am i good with the 7700?
Cheers!
