AIO about being asked if I’m on my period?

My mom keeps asking me if I’m on my period every time I try to debate something with her. She has a disorder where she lacks empathy but I’ve told her I’m not comfortable mentioning my period. She believes every time I get upset with her it’s because of my period. The other day we were debating whether ai art is harmful or not and she gave me this belittling look and asked me “honey be honest with me, are you on your period?”

Again, I’ve told her I don’t like mentioning my period or the fact that I was born a woman. I’m non-binary and she knows that. Am i overreacting?
