Long loading times for steam deck oled

Just got my steam deck OLED 512gb and wanted to play fallout 4. I noticed loading from an interior back into the commonwealth takes 20-30 seconds which is making it not very fun.

I tried enabling the special launch option on steam that would make me able to change and lower the graphics settings of the game, (SteamDeck=0 %command%) but that didn’t work for me.

To people who have experienced these long loading times, Is this just how I have to play the game on deck? Or are there other fixes I can try? Help would be greatly appreciated.
