Tips for blue baby?

I’m trying to use the most god awful character ive ever experienced, the genuine disappointment known as blue baby, I can’t even GET to Isaac with this STD. All I want is d6 for Isaac to fill out a post it, but every time I get to womb, the fact he can’t regen fucks me over, I’ll have 8-9 soul hearts and I get sniped by 83 gluttonies, get to it lives with half and get molested by the damn eyes, and if not, Isaac’s goddamn death beam
