How does the Intel 285k preform in old single or 2 threaded games?

I currently have a 13900ks, and I'm looking to upgrade to a new cpu, possibly a 285k.

Prior to my 13900ks i had a 5800x3d. In the games i play, i saw a performance increase of nearly 2x which is in line with the single core performance uplift going from ryzen 5000 to 13th gen Intel.

I would think the 285k would provide increased performance for my use case, but the architecture is very different than 13th gen.

Tldr: Does anyone know how the 285k performs in OLD single or 2 threaded games? I don't play anything modern that benefits from the 9800x3d 3d vcache.
