Optimus Just Fell in Miami… And Exposed the “Invisible Headset” 😂

A new video from Tesla’s Miami event shows Optimus handing out water bottles, dropping a few, losing balance and falling. Pretty normal for a robot. No big deal.

But right before it hits the floor, Optimus suddenly grabs at its “face” like it’s ripping off a VR headset… even though it isn’t wearing anything.

Anyone who has ever used VR recognized the move instantly.
It looked exactly like a human operator taking off their headset mid-demo.

So instead of looking like an autonomous robot, Optimus basically acted out its operator’s motion and exposed the teleoperation behind the scenes.

Robots fall. That’s fine.
Robots pretending to remove invisible headsets while falling at an “autonomy” event… that’s a little harder to explain. 🤔
