Sneezing and coughing

I had a partial hysterectomy 12 days ago and I'm doing my best to not do too much. I've been sleeping in my recliner because I can't sleep in my bed, I can't sit straight for more than 20 minutes at a time, but other than that I feel great. At least I did. I started sneezing and coughing yesterday. Not cool. I'm not one of those who can sneeze quietly. I've tried but if I do, it feels like my body is going to explode. 😄 What do you do to not feel like your stitches are going to come out too soon? I'm now sore inside and out. I've used nasal spray and allergy medicine. I drink a lot of water and tea etc. Help?

• and, I have to add, I regret not having a hysterectomy sooner. My constant pain and cramps are gone. I'm so happy!
