ANP1105
I’m not trying to brag, but for credibility, I got a 94 on the first midterm and a 93 on the second. I’ve seen a lot of people struggling, so I wanted to share some stuff that really helped me. If it helps even one person pass, mission accomplished.

If you want to actually LEARN (like memorize pathways, definitions, systems, all the juicy high-yield stuff): use ANKI. Make flashcards. Do them. Repeat. I already made a some for the 3 chapters but not all, so if you want them, just PM me, I got you.

YouTube recommendations;
-
Sam Webster: the GOAT for cardio and respiratory. Very easy to understand and if you don’t understand his explanations, lock in.
-
Dr. Matt & Dr. Mike: perfect if you’re a visual learner or if you want to actually see things happening while they explain.
-
Organised Biology, same vibes as Dr. Matt & Dr. Mike, but he throws in bonus history and random questions to keep you awake.
-
Read the textbook for anything you don’t understand. Trust me, I know a couple of people who avoided the textbook and they still regret it to this day. And review Mastering, or convert the questions into ANKI and test yourself without peeking at the answers first.
-
Chunk information. Break big topics into smaller pieces so you don’t fry your brain. Also, draw and label structures yourself, even if you can’t draw. It still helps, I promise.
I tried to keep this short and simple. My honest advice? Spend around 5–10 hours per chapter. I know it sounds insane, but these three chapters are basically 85% of the exam. I started studying two weeks before the end of November and spent around 6 hours per day on a chapter so I could review the midterms and fix everything I didn’t get before.
Last thing: if you need help or want my ANKI decks/resources, just message me and goodluck!!!!
