A nightmare

I’m turning to my trusty Reddit folks because at this very point I don’t know what to do. So I purchased a iPhone from Verizon back in October of 2023 after seeing how much there phone bills were basically ripping me off I decided to switch to metro this year. Anywho me and my ex decided to get onto a phone plan together nov 22 of this year well we ended up splitting up and he wanted my phone off the account asap so he reported my phone stolen and I’m not sure what to do I own this phone I’ve tried to contact customer support I’m at a loss right now and my phone was back active at metro at this point.. please help
