First time doing New Year in Goa and need some advice

Hey everyone

Me and four friends are planning a quick Goa trip for New Year and I wanted some guidance from people who know the place better.

We are coming from Kerala and will reach on the 30th. Plan is to explore a bit that day stay the night and then head for the NYE Blast by Third Eye Events on the 31st since Sajanka is playing. We will head back on Jan 1.

Couple of things we are unsure about

Where should we stay if we want a mix of safety affordability and easy access to the event and the usual New Year vibe

Any areas we should avoid during that time because of traffic crowd or trouble

What are the best spots to explore on the 30th for a group of friends who want good food a bit of sightseeing and a chill vibe

Suggestions for vehicle rental that is reliable especially with holiday crowds

Any simple tips for staying safe and not getting ripped off since New Year can get crazy
