What makes a man want to say I Love You?
What makes a man want to say I Love You?
Back story,
My boyfriend & I have been exclusive for 6.5 months. He asked me to be his girlfriend 6.5 months ago, we met each others family, spent Thanksgiving with his family, etc. We go on lots of dates and see each other 3 times a week, sometimes 2, sometimes 4.
My boyfriend also always wants to have intercourse every time we hang out. But I cant help but feel slightly used in a way because, he has full access to my body, and I also have a high sex drive like him, BUT I want to have sex with someone that I know loves me. As a woman, that would make me not mind so much.
So anyways, long story short, we have been exclusively dating for 6.5 months, and no “I love you.”
Honorable mention, we have never had a real argument before, never screamed or shouted at one another, and any disagreement (few and far between) is always taken as a conversation. So it’s not like it’s some toxic and immature relationship.
I’m reluctant to ask the question of “We’ve been together half of a year, and you haven’t said that you love me yet?” Because I fear that’ll put pressure on him to think “Great, now I have to say it in the next few days or something to let this blow over.” I want it to be organic and natural. But I’m wondering where it is.
Advice?
