bad mid year report

I am applying for ED2 this year for the School of Arts & Sciences, and I'm in rigorous classes (IB), and my current GPA for 12th grade mid-year is bad, like 4.2/5.0
But my average GPA for HS is 4.6/5.0 (4.8 last year), and I have a 1560 superscore SAT. Will this help me? Is the mid-year report that important?
