Advise on connecting flight Australia to LAX to Detroit to Montreal.

I have a 6hour layover in LAX, which is fine plenty of time to grab bags and re-check them.

However in Detroit, I have 1h 46m. I am unsure if this is enough time to go from Domestic to International and IF I need to grab and recheck my bags again
