Women's dresscode
So this is focused on UK jurisdictions. I've noticed that while Female Freemasons in Co-Masonry sometimes wear trousers for lodge meetings the traditional ones don't- it's either a dress or a skirt. I don't quite understand why the traditional ones won't wear trousers, the best explanation I ever received is "Because we are women". So I was wondering if there is any practical explanation.
On a side note: It's also interesting how things are explained in traditional vs Co-Masonry. For instance I know there's definitely a rule in traditional that the women don't cross their legs during a meeting. The way the traditional ones explain it is that it's just good manners (or something with the blood flow) whereas in Co-Masonry they explain it as it messes with the energy flow.
