Has anyone else noticed how YouTube shorts “buffer” every time the next short is an Ad

Like the title says, it is very easy to catch on by just spending a little bit of time on shorts. If you are watching one even with good internet, it will do a fake buffer just for you to scroll down, and every single time that happens theres an Ad. This is unacceptable, the ads on the TV and console version were already bad enough, but now intentionally ruining the experience of watching something for you to scroll past it to watch an ad?
