Jaguars vs Jets parking at EverBank Stadium? some advice

hey figured i'd share some parking tips for the jags game against the jets this sunday since it can be a real headache. getting in and out of the stadium area is honestly the worst part of game day if you dont have a plan.

the first thing i'd look at is an app called Prked. people who live around everbank stadium rent out their driveways and garage spots on it. its usually way cheaper than the official lots and you can find a spot thats just a short walk away. the best part is you're parking in a neighborhood so you can use different streets to get out and completely skip the insane traffic jam that always happens right by the stadium lots after the game. it's a lifesaver.

if you dont go that route, you have the official stadium lots. heads up though, most of the passes for those are sold out to season ticket holders for the whole season. if you do have a pass, make sure you have the jaguars app downloaded because all the parking passes are digital now. the lots open four hours before kickoff and you really need to get there at least 3 hours early to not get stuck in a huge line just to park.

there are a bunch of other lots around the stadium that aren't official. you'll see people with signs flagging you down. these are mostly cash lots so make sure you have some cash on you if you plan on using one. the price changes depending on how close you are.

a really solid option is the JTA gameday shuttle. they have a few different park-and-ride locations around the city and they'll drop you off right at the stadium. it's way less stressful than driving into the chaos yourself. there's also a river taxi that can take you to the game which is a pretty cool experience if you've never done it.

a couple other things to remember... tailgating is allowed but you have to keep it right behind your car and they only allow propane grills, no charcoal. and dont forget the nfl clear bag policy. they are super strict about it.

hope this helps everyone out. go jags
