Eagles vs Raiders parking at the Linc - some advice
Figured i'd share some parking tips for the eagles raiders game on december 14th since it can be a real headache down there.
Honestly the best thing i've found is using an app called Prked. you can rent someones private driveway or garage right next to Lincoln Financial Field. It's usually way cheaper than the official lots and you get to park in a reserved spot super close to the stadium. The best part is skipping all the traffic chaos getting out of the main lots after the game, its just a short walk and then you're on your way.
If you do want to use the official lots at the sports complex, be prepared to pay. I think it's about $50 for a regular car and $100 for an oversized one for eagles games. The lots open around four and a half hours before kickoff, so get there early if you want a good tailgating spot. Just know that some lots like Q, R, S, T, and a few others don't allow tailgating. The whole complex has over 20,000 spots but they fill up fast.
Getting out of those lots is a nightmare, seriously. everyone is aggressive and it can take hours. The city has been testing new traffic patterns to try and make it better, so you might be forced to go a different way than you're used to, just follow the cops directions.
A couple other options are the Live! Casino, but their parking is around $60 for non-members. You could also try FDR Park which is cheaper, maybe $30, but it's a bit of a walk, like 20 minutes. Taking an uber or lyft is another thought but they have to deal with the same traffic and surge pricing can be brutal, plus there's no official pickup spot at the linc which makes it messy.
No matter what you do, get there early. The traffic on I-95 and Broad Street gets crazy. If you're coming from jersey over the walt whitman bridge, it's a good idea to have a plan.
hope this helps a bit. should be a great game, go birds
