So I am ethnically South Korean, born in Seoul in 1996 and moved to Canada in 1997. When I was very little, my mother used to tell me stories about how if I don't go to sleep like I should during bedtime, then a tiger would come and get me. So using all science and logical thinking, we can conclude that Thom Yorke is Korean and his mother used to scold him with that same tiger bedtime story and he wrote the song "there there" as an ironic lullaby out of resentment for having that tiger story told to him when he was little
