How are you supposed to order off bricklink

From what ive seen its a store for individual lego bricks, but its more of a marketplace with different sellers, which would be fine, if it wasnt for the fact that most of them only have like 10 different bricks, but require you to spend about a Dollar to order, meaning if you wanted to order off bricklink, youd end up overpaying for a bunch of bricks you dont need.

Or am I just doing something wrong?
