"pretty" but still just as lonely as ever

Venting

I want to say that I am a charming person. I have high enough self esteem to say that. Everyone acts as though I am magnetic in my personality and I'm very pretty. A lot of the attention I get is unwanted advances because I am pretty and so many people say they enjoy how dependable I am. Reliable. I talk to everyone and anyone. And still I leave my workplace completely and utterly alone. I do everything alone.

I walk out those doors with no one waiting for me, no one wondering if I'll be okay. I am surrounded by people with constant sources of friendship and companions and not a single one there wants me for anything other than eye candy. I may be pretty, but that's all I am. Eye candy in the middle of the night for divorced old men and guys around my age who only want to hook up. I am not worth a deeper connection, nor will I ever have one.

I go home all and lie down in bed. I don't have friends. I don't have people who want to hang out with me. I am surrounded by people with families and partners who have been there through thick and thin and I have nothing of the sort. What is the point? I am only there to be gawked at. Nobody actually cares. They just think I'm pretty. That's all.
