A touch of the 'tism?? Absolutely not.
Whenever I hear "I have a touch of the 'tism," I know we’re about to enter nonsense territory.
Autism shapes how I process sound, time, communication, regulation, everything. It’s a whole brain setup that shapes how I move through every single day. Picking one trait you vibed with doesn’t land you anywhere near the reality.
Calling it a borrowed quirk erases what this actually is. It’s reductive, and it’s getting old.
