How to date people if I do not possess much material goods?

Don't want to say any self pitying words besides, my family is not poor at all, the thing is I personally kinda am lol)

I'm 22 and like at this age certain... Qualities are expected from a man, Including some kind of financial stability yet i don't think I can provide this.

So like... Should I wait abd work for a while till I can or it shouldn't matter? It's just... I don't want make people feel like they are not being cared about but often eating outside, taxi, drinks it's... Expensive enough for me to feel it.
