The Vivo X300 Pro is officially here. Is this the camera king of 2026?

Vivo has just taken the wraps off the X300 series, and on paper, it looks like they are trying to end the competition before the year even finishes.

The biggest talking point is the new 200MP Zeiss APO Telephoto lens. We thought the X100 and X200 were good, but early samples show this thing capturing usable portraits at 30x zoom. It is frankly ridiculous.

Under the hood, it is running the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. I know some people still prefer Snapdragon, but looking at the thermal management on this chip, it is running cooler than the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

They also managed to cram a 6,510mAh battery inside without turning the phone into a brick, thanks to the new silicon-carbon tech we have been seeing everywhere this month.

The India launch is tipped for late December or early January.
