Hey r/GoRVing crew,

I’ve been geeking out over water solutions (paranoid about water safety after a trip last year), and I stumbled upon this thing on Amazon. It seems almost too good to be true for Kitchen/van/RV life.

What caught my eye:

Claims to be a full 5-stage RO + UV purifier (not just a filter).

Has a built-in heater that dispenses hot water on demand for coffee/tea.Plug-and-play, no under-sink installation.Comes with a 4L tank.

My biggest questions for the group:

Design & Practicality: From the pic, does the size and setup look manageable in a tight RV/van space? Would you keep it out or stow it away?

Spec Check: For those who know water systems, does the “RO+UV+Heater” combo make

sense, or is it over-engineered? Is there a crucial flaw I’m missing?

Trust Factor: The brand is ‘Raorio’ – not a household name. Does this look like a quality piece of kit, or a gimmick waiting to break?

Value: It’s around $400. At that price, would you expect it to last for years, or would you rather stick with separate components (e.g., a Berkey + an electric kettle)?

I’m seriously considering it, but I value the hive mind here way more than a few Amazon reviews. Any thoughts, warnings, or if you’ve actually used one, I’d love to hear your take.

Found this all-in-one portable RO water purifier with a HEATER - anyone have real-world experience?
