Countless people over the course of time have toyed with the Idea of Defining love. Some define it as a thing you can't live without, some call it an experience you can give your life for, some call it purpose and some say it is an escape from loneliness and more. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World takes in all of this and defines love without that being the center point of the plot.

The Characters are written naturally and the acting adds to it. Steve Carell and Keira Knightley do extra ordinary job at selling this dead chemistry that has to re-blossom and meta-morph into a beautiful creature. Everything lands by the end This movie left me with a heavy heart by the end. It goes beyond the concept of what a movie can communicate with it's acting and writing. >!The Climax scene is a exceptional, I felt it in my chest where Keira Knightley said "I'm Scared".!<

You know the tragedy is going to strike , you know all the characters in the movie are sad about dying. But there is a comfort in all this somewhere, it's such a unique setting where characters are all genuine for the simple reason there is no 'future' , what we do is what we are. This is a recurring theme with all the characters and it is such a fresh take. I feel like I have to rewatch this movie time to time to remind myself that life isn't what it is , it is what we make of it.

I know the movie did not receive good reviews and that is kind of sad considering how good the entire movie feels.
