Neither Dom's nor subs feel good about complicated rules

I only enjoy the Dom position personally as a male. I was doing light fetish play with my previous gfs (spank bruises, chains, ropes, blind folds, choke, anal play etc) without having to join any club/forum.

The rules that I've used was to stop on a hard no (when I wasn't using a safe word) or eventually I was using a safe word but was never needed. "After care" was normal talk afterwards of what we enjoyed. Yes I was very restrained even in these relationships that's why I use the safe word now.

I acknowledge that some times they would say things that made me more restrained (like when she agreed/asked for me to be more violent enjoyed it immensely but afterwards said she was scared) but this was mitigated by the use of a safe word. If it happened multiple times than I would break up. Don't need the drama.

Finally I acknowledge that some more elaborate relationship of property owner might need a more tailored approach like a contract but the sheer amount of pages after pages of rules and explanations feels like it defeats the purpose of the whole fetish Dom/sub idea to me.
