Help! Planning my own wedding so far.

Hi! I am new to Reddit. I spent some time going through this SR and I really appreciate how helpful and supportive everyone is. I am just starting to plan my own wedding for November 2026, and I recognize that I might be a bit late by convention. However, if there's any recommendations you have, I'd be very happy to take them.

I am looking for kind, efficient wedding planners who really understand your needs. I am happy to work with new teams who may not have a super large portfolio. It's not a super production heavy Bollywood wedding. I'm hoping it's intimate, warm, with a lot of heart. The groom is Punjabi, the bride is Bengali.

Budget: 5-7L. We're paying for this ourselves and hoping to not involve our parents.

Additionally, if anyone has recommendations for vendors (make-up, photography, others), I am happy to navigate logistics with them.

There is so much on the internet and Instagram, and it's a little difficult to know where to begin. Thanks in anticipation.
