I dislike seafood
I hate seafood. More specifically, fish. I don’t think many types of fish should be consumed. Why do people eat those fish that taste so fishy? Especially in Chinese cuisine. Like bruh, fish itself already tastes revolting, but then they proceed to steam it in its own juices and plop some random chewy vegetables on the side. Also dislike how they serve fish. Most Chinese restaurants serve u the entire fish. Yes I may be unskilled or lazy, but they should really have an option on the menu for the chef to debone the fish. The bones are scary. I don’t care if i have to pay more, it makes the fish way less intimidating. This should be a thing. The only fish dishes I can stomach are those that have a very mild fish flavour, and it HAS to be accompanied with a good sauce and side. I really despise fish.
Apart from fish, I also hate prawns - or any crustacean. I didn’t always hate them. Only when I was 9, when the teacher said that crustaceans are scavengers, did I begin my disgust of crustaceans. They’re literally the underwater equivalent of insects. I would not eat a wet cockroach no matter how much garlic is on it. Even more so, I have the crippling urge to jump out the window when I see seafood stew. Why do people enjoy seafood stew? The animals themselves are unappetising enough, why throw them in without de-shelling or peeling them? I can’t bring myself to try seafood stew.
Lastly, this will be a short one, clams. They’re just weird. They don’t seem like animals to me. They filter random ass stuff from the water and I’m expected to eat them. I cant.
To sum, I don’t like seafood. I find it disgusting. My passion on the subject slowly depleted as I wrote this post so u can see the paragraphs truncating progressively. Thank you for reading.
